Testolone, also known as RAD-140, is a SARM, or selective androgen receptor modulator. Nonskeletal muscle tissues are unlikely to experience androgen activity. In fact, RAD-140 has the highest ratio of anabolic to androgenic activity of any SARM discovered, 90:1.
Testosterone has a 100:100 anabolic to androgenic ratio. This means that Testolone is nearly as anabolic as testosterone while being only one-hundredth as androgenic. This is a good thing because the majority of testosterone’s negative side effects, such as effects on the liver, kidney, and prostate, are caused by its androgenic effects.
